Newmarket Town Football Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country. Founded in 1877 it is a very proud and ambitious club and has one of the largest youth set ups in East Anglia with no less than 23 junior teams and is linked to Newmarket College. The first team play in the Ridgeons League with the U18s competing in the Ridgeons Youth League. The club are now looking to build on their position in the Ridgeons League by developing an Advanced Football Skills programme to support the clubs progress through the football pyramid.

Our partnership with Newmarket College will provide high level coaching within the programme that will allow players to continue their development both as a player and a coach. This partnership will also give players the opportunity to play within the Ridgeons U18 Floodlit League and senior first team on a regular basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in the world of football. The club are looking for the best local talent who wish to further their football education and also progress academically in the field of sport.

In addition to the football training programme players will be enrolled onto the full time course of academic studies held in Newmarket Colleges' stste of the art sporting facilities.
